Direct Marketing Rules


Direct response marketing is by far the best method of driving your enrollments. There is no other type of marketing that is as effect. So what is Direct Marketing and how can I use it to grow my school? The answer is fairly simple. Direct response marketing follows some simple rules. These 10 rules are listed below. It also is a style of marketing that gets your prospective student to pickup the phone and call you NOW!

  1. There will ALWAYS be an OFFER or OFFERS
  2. There will be a reason to respond RIGHT NOW
  3. There will be clear instruction on HOW TO RESPOND
  4. There will be tracking and measurement
  5. Branding only as a bi-product
  6. There will ALWAYS be FOLLOW-UP!
  7. There will be strong copy in the ad, not boring
  8. In general the ad will look like mail order advertising.
  9. Results RULE PERIOD!
  10. You will be a touch minded disciplinarian and keep your business on a strict direct marketing diet for at least 6 months.
